The first organizing center for youth affairs will be established during this year’s National Youth Week, said Mahmoud Golzari, youth affairs deputy at the ministry of youth and sports.
The National Youth Week takes place every year concurrent with the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (AS) to create a platform for “exchange of ideas among the younger generation and present an opportunity for authorities to address related issues,” Mehr News Agency reported. Golzari noted that 200 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) were registered last year, and said “a journal for youth NGOs will soon be out.”
