Promoting private education is one of the policies of the ministry of education. The managing director of people’s participation office at the education ministry Zeini Vand, said 1.2 million students are attending non-governmental schools in the country. He added that private schools reduce government spending and encourages public participation in the field of education. He also emphasized the importance of teachers in private schools to have advanced degrees and be updated, ISNA reported.
