More than 300 historical buildings have been identified for modern lighting techniques, said Jamal Kamyab, head of Tehran Municipality’s Beautification Organization.
The lighting techniques will help showcase and beautify the city’s historic buildings, he said, adding that the highest concentration of historical monuments in Tehran is in District 12, Mehr News Agency reported.
District 12 is confined to Enqelab Avenue in the north, Hafez and Vahdat Eslami streets to the west, Shoush Street in the south and 17 Shahrivar and Shahid Mahallati Highway in the east.
