Efforts have been made to provide nurseries and kindergartens for prisons across the country, said Shahindokht Molaverdi, vice-president for women and family affairs, adding that Qarchak Prison has all the criteria for opening a kindergarten, and construction for the same will soon commence. A prison nursery is a section of a prison that houses incarcerated mothers and their children, ISNA reported. Qarchak prison is located in Varamin city in Tehran Province.
