In the current year, a plan will launch to put widely-consumed food items including rice, flour, diary and meat products under stricter control, said Rasoul Dinarvand, head of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) adding that different kinds of rice imported to the country will be certified before hitting store shelves. Regulating domestically produced rice is also being conducted across the country, IRNA reported.
