Launching day care centers at the workplace for female government employees is high on agenda at the social committee of the cabinet. Shahindokht Molaversi, vice-president for women and family affairs said in an interview with IRIB that her office is working to open nursery schools in prisons, too. Molaverdi added these measures will be taken despite the government’s fiscal constraints and women’s issues getting the short shrift, ISNA reported.
