Several plans have been developed to prevent oral diseases in the country. To be launched in the current year (started March 21), the programs can be placed in the two categories of sectoral and cross-sectoral with cross-sectoral plans being carried out by the health ministry in coordination with the ministry of education, Mehr News Agency quoted Dr. Saeed Asgari, secretary of oral health council at the ministry of health as saying.
Ministry of health held a ceremony on Sunday to officially inaugurate the plans. Attending the ceremony were dignitaries including the health minister and members of Majlis health committee.
