Dr. Mostafa Dahmardei quoted by ISNA said although burn incidents are increasing in Iran, surgeons are less willing to treat burns due to their costly procedures and the low salary that surgeons are paid.
He called for measures to improve the insurance policy for burns and the conditions of hospitals, saying that most of the burn patients are poor.
