Based on an agreement between Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation (IKRF) and the Department of Land Administration, poor villagers and nomads will receive land to work on. Mohammad Omid, Employment Deputy at IKRF quoted by ISNA said needy villagers and nomads have long been struggling to acquire farm lands to work on and this forced many of them to migrate to big cities in search of jobs. Omid added that according to a 5-year plan, eligible locals will be provided with fertile land to sustain themselves.
