To ensure health and wellbeing improvement across the country, several important measures were taken by health ministry over the past year (ended on March 20), including deployment of more than 3000 primary care physicians in remote areas of the country, encouraging natural childbirth by making it free and launching air ambulance service, IRNA quoted Seyed Hassan Ghazizadeh Hashemi, Iranian health minister as saying. He also pointed out that “over the past year, 8 million uninsured people have received health insurance coverage.”
