Moving household items and heavy furniture to relocate to another home is banned across the country during Nowruz (March 21 to April 3), said Tehran Police Chief, Hossein Sajedinia. If people want to relocate, they must obtain the necessary permit from the police beforehand, otherwise their cargo will be seized as “stolen goods”, Alef News Agency reported. As many people travel during the Nowruz holidays, the measure has been taken to provide greater home security and theft prevention.
