Improving standards of the city railway in western Tehran is the top priority of the Tehran Municipality in the coming year (starts March 21). Transport deputy at Tehran Municipality, Jaffar Tashakkori Hashemi said other priorities include providing “bike trails and walk sides for pedestrians,” Mojnews reported. Hashemi added that 200 new buses - 90 electric - will be added to the transportation fleet.
