Vice-President for Family and Women’s Affairs Shahindokht Molaverdi made the case for launching nursery schools in prisons. Following her correspondence with Vice-President Eshagh Jahangiri on the issue, the proposal was sent to the relevant government departments to be studied, she said, quoted by ISNA. Molaverdi had earlier announced efforts to re-launch nursery schools in government offices and had advocated for Thursdays to be declared public holidays.
