The successful health assessment of 80,000 4-year-old children this year (ends March 20), will be followed by nationwide health assessment of all four-year old children from next year. Deputy of Pre-school Affairs Rokhsareh Fazli at the ministry of health, said all children will be subject to health assessment in the New Year, but “this will require authorization from the Special Needs Students Department,” ISNA reported. Although health assessment of children is being conducted since 1993 for five-year-old children, it will now take place one year earlier to identify kids with learning problems.
