Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Mahmoud Goodarzi criticized the senseless criticism of satellite TV saying it is a ‘’double-edged sword’’ that might also work as the best tool for education, ISNA reports. He said outright rejection of satellite TV “does not address the problem” and said they should be weighed “for their pros and cons so their benefits can be utilized.” The pace of technological change is too fast to be resisted and “social media and parents both influence the character of the youth,” he said.
