School teachers are encouraged to make use of computers in the classroom. Mohyeddin Mohammadi, curriculum and research deputy at the ministry of education, said teachers who are willing to try their hand in digital learning will receive the necessary training to enhance their skills. Mohammadi added while students are introduced to computer skills in elementary schools, the ministry aims to turn higher grades into ‘’IT courses’’ and hence the foray into digital learning, ISNA reported. Mohammadi had earlier said textbooks “of some grades are already available on the web.”
