Isfahan has the highest annual road accident rate among the provinces, said Morteza Moradipour, Iranian Red Crescent Society’s general director of operations coordinating center.This year (ends March 20) the number of car accidents has declined by 0.6% compared to the previous year, Alef News Agency quoted him as saying. After Isfahan, Kerman and Mazandaran Provinces had the most rates of road crashes.
