Swedish Ambassador to Tehran Peter Tejler visited Financial Tribune on Tuesday. He discussed in detail the latest developments in the media world, especially the competition between the print and digital media.
Tejler also elaborated on issues related to the press in his country and how Stockholm was addressing the systemic challenges posed by the online media and adjusting to the growing demands in the information age.
Managing Director Ali Reza Bakhtiari briefed the senior envoy on the paper’s mission and its plan of action, both in the short and long-term. Tejler, who was accompanied by the Swedish Embassy’s second secretary, and the senior officer for trade and cultural affairs, toured the editorial department and briefly exchanged views with the staff.
