New reforms in the pension funds procedures have been announced by Taghi Noorbakhsh, managing director of the Social Security Organization (SSO). He said according to the new arrangements, intervals between periods of employment - no matter how long they are will not disrupt the pension process. Therefore, employees will not lose their pension status after an unemployment stint. “The new law for ‘difficult jobs’ has also been approved at SSO,” he said, quoted by ISNA.
