Tehran Metro will run a 24-hour service on Friday, a day prior to the Iranian New Year (March 21). The head of Tehran Metro Company, Mosen Nayebi said the First Line of the metro will also be open overnight on the two Thursdays before the New Year, which are usually the busiest shopping days of the year before the long holiday starts. Special operation teams at metro stations will be present in case of contingencies, he added ISNA reported.
