Shahram Rafeei, safety deputy at the health ministry urged parents “to be very careful in protecting their children from risky behavior on this day” and that “coercion does not work best in persuading children.” Refeei listed burns and explosions as the primary risks threatening children and adolescents. He also called on the media to raise awareness about the dangers.
