As the Persian New Year- known as Nowruz draws near, the Metro Company will host special programs to mark the occasion, said Mohammad Saebi, the company’s culture deputy. The metro services in Tehran will not be closed during the Nowruz holidays and the opportunity will be used to offer travel advice to visitors. He said the programs will include Haft Seens (seven ‘S’s), traditional table settings in celebration of spring from various local communities and a host of cultural events, ISNA reported.
