Minister of Health Hassan Hashemi announced that 220 new health centers will open across the country in the coming year (starts March 21). The centers will be equipped with “the most advanced medical technology” for the treatment of terminal illnesses, he said, adding that the government has allocated $333 million for the treatment of cancer. He urged philanthropists and charity organizations to take part in the initiative.
