As air pollution in Ahwaz has reached a crisis point, DoE head Masoumeh Ebtekar announced “a national fund to address the problem of air-borne particles in the city.” Aside from the particles which originate in Iraq which cannot be tackled due to unrest in the region, the plan to address the issue within Iran and other nearby regions, will soon commence, she said on Monday ISNA reports.
