‘Islamic Nobel’ Prize Delayed

Screening of candidates for the ‘Mustafa Prize’ or the ‘Islamic Nobel Prize’ is a lengthy process and hence the delay in launching the contest. Sorena Sattari, vice-president for Science and Technology said the main reason for postponing the event is the lack of consensus in choosing the most competent candidates. Sattari added that the prize will be awarded for achievements in selected categories of science and technology in 2015, ISNA reported.
