While only 5% of Tehran residents shop for fruits online or by telephone, 15 new centers will be opened to place orders by email or telephone, says Fruit Markets Managing Director Ahmad Safavi. In 5 districts of the province the orders come at no extra charge and in other districts a minimum fee is charged, ISNA reported. Safavi added that they “are working to enhance packaging and branding of the produce to encourage more citizens to purchase fruits and vegetables through alternative ways.”
