Circus Animal Abuse

Last week a bear was seized from a circus in Kazeroun in the southern Fars Province, said Amirhossein Dadashi, head of the regional environmental coordination office at the Department of Environment (DoE).
“Homayouni Circus was entertaining the audience with a bear and following public complaints, the bear was seized and will be soon transferred to a qualified animal care center,” Mehr News Agency quoted him as saying. A second bear from a street circus as well has been taken over, and the abusers will be sent to the Animal Illegal Abuse Court.
