During the first 9 months of the current Iranian calendar year (ends March 20), 48,491 foreign tourists from 88 countries visited the monuments of Kashan in Isfahan Province, ISNA quoted head of Kashan’s Statistics and Data Gathering and Processing Committee Alireza Abdolahzadeh as saying.

Among the foreign tourists, Italians comprised the largest number of visitors of Fin Garden. The main nationalities, who visited the historical garden, were Italian, German, Chinese, Spanish, French, Japanese, Dutch, Belgians, Hong Kong, and Swiss.

Within the same period, approximately 1.3 million tourists, both domestic and international, visited the historical monuments of Kashan, including the garden and museum of Fin, historical houses, Sultan Mir-Ahmad bathhouse, and the prehistoric mound of Sialk.

There are 25 hotels in the county, open all year round. Accommodation comprises just over 1,000 beds in total. Within the first 9 months of the year, 60,000 had overnight stays, including 15,000 foreigners.
