The first snow festival in Iran will be held this winter in Yasuj, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province. The national Dena snow festival is to be held on January 29 and 30 in Kakan ski resort in Yasuj, said Mahmoud Bagheri, director general of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad provincial Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO). The festival will include interesting programs such as skiing competition, performance skiing, snow statue festival and competition, live music and theater performances, photography competition, handicrafts and traditional local foods exhibition. Various organizations are collaborating with ICHHTO to hold the festival.
The logo and poster of the festival was unveiled in the recent meeting of tourism working group of the provincial ICHHTO on Sunday (December 28).
