Tehran-Savadkouh Railbus Tour

Iran has launched a railbus tourism scheme that travels from Tehran to the picturesque Savadkouh region in north Iran. A railbus is a passenger rail vehicle similar to a bus that usually operates on little-used railroads. Passengers travel along verdant forests and towering mountains, stopping at designated points to see historical and cultural sites or purchasing souvenirs in villages along the route, YJC reported. The ticket for the one day tour is priced at 1.7 million rials ($45) and includes three meals and travel insurance.
