A 629-year-old church bell on display in Urmia's Museum of Anthropology will be repatriated to Turkey, the deputy for legal affairs at Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization said. Hadi Qarah Seyyed Roumiani, who also serves as interim deputy for tourism, said all historical objects in Iran that belong to other countries will be returned as soon as possible. "This is in line with Iran's policy of peace and friendship," he was quoted as saying by YJC. According to the Daily Sabah, an English daily based in Turkey, the church bell belonged to Saint Mary Church in Turkey's eastern Van Province and was brought to Iran during wartime.
