Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization is reviewing regulations pertaining to tourism facilities and tourist rights, according to the interim deputy for tourism at the organization.
Speaking at a meeting with representatives of private enterprises active in the travel industry, Hadi Qarah Seyyed Roumiani said Iran has approximately 600 tourism laws, all of which are being reassessed, Mehr News Agency reported.
He added that they will be presented after undergoing assessment, adding that vague regulations have long hindered progress and cooperation with the private sector.
