The US-based anti-racism group National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has issued a travel advisory for the State of Missouri in the United States, the first time the group has taken such a measure for a US state. The NAACP’s first statewide alert comes after the Missouri legislature passed a law that permits legal discrimination, CNN reported. The advisory cites a list of discriminatory incidents in Missouri as examples of the potential risks of visiting the state.  "Individuals traveling in the state are advised to travel with extreme CAUTION," the advisory warns. "Race, gender and color based crimes have a long history in Missouri."
