All the museums managed by Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization are open on Saturday (Aug. 5), when President Hassan Rouhani is set to be inaugurated.

President Rouhani was reelected for a second term in May.

Since a number of foreign dignitaries leading large delegations are expected to attend the ceremony, all state and public institutions and organizations, except those extending emergency services, will be closed on Saturday to facilitate the movement of dignitaries.

According to Director of Museums and Historical Moveable Properties Office Mohammad Reza Kargar, except for Sa'dabad Museum Complex in northern Tehran, all the museums managed by ICHHTO will be open, ISNA reported.

"Sa'dabad Palace is the venue for VIP services and hosting guests, and is closed to public until Sunday," he added.

Eight presidents and high-powered diplomatic delegations from at least 92 countries and organizations are confirmed to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
