Private investors have pledged 1.1 trillion rials ($29 million) for cultural heritage projects in Isfahan Province to help launch 90 schemes since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21). "The projects range from building lodging facilities to restoring historical sites," IRIB quoted Hamid Amini, director for planning and investment at the provincial office of Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, as saying. Amini said about 15% of the projects are expected to be completed by the end of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2018).
