Museums Close Earlier in Ramadan

All museums managed by Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization will close an hour earlier during the holy month of Ramadan, an official of the organization said. Speaking to ISNA, Mohammad Reza Kargar said ICHHTO-managed museums across the country will be open to public from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. The holy month began on Saturday and is expected to end on June 25, but the date may vary depending on thesighting of the crescent moon that heralds the beginning of the next Islamic month, Shawwal.
