In the presence of head of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) Masud Soltanifar, the 5-star botanic hotel of Gorgan, capital of Golestan Province was inaugurated, Fars News quoted public relations office of the provincial ICHHTO.

The botanic palace-hotel is constructed near Nodijeh village, some 10 km west of Gorgan city. The hotel is situated within a botanic garden.

The hotel covers an area of 40,000 sq meters, with the building area of 10,000 sq meters. It consists of 7.5 stories including 2 stories for conditioning installations, laundry, store-rooms; and one floor for swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi, and kitchen.

The ground floor includes lobby, reception, conference hall with the capacity of 250 people, and 2 gourmet restaurants accommodating 120 and 200 people.

The hotel has 4.5 lodging floors where there are 140 beds. The project creates jobs for up to 80 people. It became operational with $7,431,629 investment, and additional governmental support totaling $2,972,652.
