Iranian businesspeople traveling to Iraq can receive six-month visas if they carry a reference letter from their local chamber of commerce. During a meeting on Thursday with members of the Khorramshahr Chamber of Commerce in Khuzestan Province, Iraqi Ambassador to Iran Rajeh Saber Abud al-Mousavi said, "Three-month visas are currently issued without the need to meet special requirements," Mehr News Agency reported. Mousavi said some 1,190 visas were issued to Iranian traders in the first three months of 2017. "We've simplified the visa procedure due to the importance of developing the economy for both countries," he said.
