Iranian artisans are among the participants in L’Artigiano in Fiera, the 19th International Crafts Selling Exhibition in Milan, Italy, news agency of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) reported. The exhibition commenced on November 29, and will end on December 8. Artisans from various provinces will have the opportunity to display their wares, as a way of introducing handicrafts and the original skills of Iranian artisans to the world.  The director general office for export of handicrafts selected six artisans from the provinces of Khorasan-Razavi, Tehran, Zanjan, and Isfahan to participate in the event, deputy of ICHHTO Bahman Namvar Motlaq said. The displayed handicrafts include figured calico, traditional ornaments and trinkets, traditional saddlery, painting, filigree, and embroidery.  Last month, the handicrafts export office sent a separate group of artisans to the Handicraft Work Exhibition of Berlin, Germany where their works were appreciated by a great number of visitors.
