Lebanon's Tourism Minister Avedis Gidanian is expected to visit Iran next week to discuss development of cultural and tourism ties between the two countries with his Iranian counterpart Zahra Ahmadipour, who heads Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, and other tourism officials. Gidanian will arrive in Tehran on Sunday for a two-day trip, IRNA reported, quoting a report by Lebanon's National News Agency. The composition of the minister's delegation was not immediately clear. The two sides are expected to agree to plans for introducing tours to their respective countries. Gidanian will also take part in the opening ceremony of Tehran's International Tourism Exhibition on Feb. 6-9.
