ICHHTO, Foreign Ministry Sign Research MoU

The Center for International Research and Education at the Foreign Ministry has signed a memorandum of understanding with Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization to collaborate on cultural and historical research. The MoU assures setting up joint documentation, preservation and maintenance of historic documents, exchange of experts and taking measures to protect cultural heritage with ties to Iran abroad. Speaking to Mehr News Agency, Seyyed Mohammad Kazem Sajjadpour, the head of CIRE, stressed that "merely signing the agreement" is not enough, and that both sides have to strive to meet their obligations under the MoU.
