Rotana Dominates "Travel Oscars"

Affirming its position as one of the leading hotel management companies in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Eastern Europe, Rotana scooped a total of 15 awards at the Middle East Gala Ceremony of the World Travel Awards 2016. It was named the “Middle East’s Leading Hotel Brand” for a record-extending 10th straight year, Hospitalitynet.org reported. Known as the “Oscars of the travel industry”, the World Travel Awards is the most prestigious awards program for the global travel industry, rewarding leaders in the tourism, airline, hotel and hospitality sectors around the world.  The awards were presented at a gala ceremony held in Dubai on Tuesday. Rotana, whose Rayhaan brand targets Muslim travelers, is preparing four properties to open in Tehran and the holy city of Mashhad in Iran by 2018.
