Special incentives will be granted to airline companies that actively seek to bring tourists to Iran, the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran has announced. According to Morteza Dehqan, director of the Airports, Airlines and Aeronautical Institutions Supervision Office at CAOI, some foreign tourists might be sensitive about the quality of their flights. “It has been decided to allow domestic and foreign airlines that help bring in foreign tourists to Iran to make unscheduled flights,” the news website of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development quoted the official as saying. Dehqan stressed that the decision only applies to inbound flights of foreign airlines.
