The plan will be implemented in collaboration with Iran’s Revitalization and Utilization Fund for Historical Places and Qazvin Municipality, the Persian daily Donya-e-Eqtesad reported. The diplomats and ambassadors are selected from countries from where Iran hopes to attract the most tourists, including Turkey, China, India, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia and Kazakhstan in Asia; Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE, Iraq, Bahrain and Oman in the Middle East; and the USA, Canada, Germany, Britain, Spain, Italy and Greece in Europe and America. The diplomats will visit Qazvin’s landmarks with their families and be apprised of investment opportunities in the province’s tourism sector.
