The Touring and Automobile Club of the Iran has been selected by Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization to represent the country in four tourism exhibitions in the current Iranian year (started March 20).

The first event will be Top Resa, an international tourism and travel exhibition in Paris, France, that TACI will attend on 10-23 September.

JATA Tourism Expo, a global event in Tokyo, Japan, is the next foreign event scheduled for 22-25 September, Mehr News Agency reported.

The organization will then head to Austria for Ferien-Messe Wien, the international event for holidays, travel and leisure, and the leading public access tourism trade fair in the country, which will take place during January 12-15, 2017 in the capital Vienna.

Finally, TACI will attend FITUR, a global meeting point for tourism professionals and the leading trade fair for inbound and outbound Ibero American markets. The 37th edition of the reputable event will be held in Madrid on January 18-22, 2017.

Active participation in international expos is an excellent opportunity to promote Iranian tourism and provides a platform for tourism authorities and travel agencies to meet their counterparts from across the world and forge ties.

Registration for the events began on May 28 and will continue until June 19. All tourism-related businesses, including travel agencies, hotels, handicraft producers, airlines and other related enterprises in both public and private sectors can apply to be a part of TACI’s delegation via the organization’s official website, www.taci.ir.
