Codes of Conduct Class for Airport Police

The personnel at the Shahid Ashrafi Esfahani international airport police force in Kermanshah have taken classes on the codes of conduct with respect to tourists. The classes were held in keeping with the country’s aims to improve quality and ensure a high standard of service is provided to foreign visitors, reported CHTN.

“The first impression tourists get is of paramount importance in shaping their image of the country, “said Ali Felegari, provincial head of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO).”  Tourism being the third biggest industry after oil, and automotive industries, and making up nearly 11 percent of the world’s total employment, means developing this sector could lead to a more equitable distribution of wealth among people,” the official added.

Western media tends to destroy Iran’s image; therefore it is the country’s own responsibility to communication with the world, Felegari said.
