A group of young Iranian innovators based in Uppsala, Sweden have created an online platform providing 360° panoramic view of top attractions in the country.
They used high quality images and high definition videos to create for their project, IRNA reported.
The online platform (www.persiaport.com) is available in four languages: English, French, Arabic and Chinese — but not Persian, making it clear that the developers are targeting foreign tourists.
The website is still in its early days and does not boast a huge selection of sites, but quoting an unnamed source, the news agency reports that the developers will regularly expand the number of attractions on the platform.
