Historical structures of Iran will be reviewed at a training workshop at the National Museum of Iran on January 16. The workshop would be the 10th monthly educational meeting organized by the Tehran branch of the Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization. Speakers will and include archaeologists and researchers, namely Reza Nouri Shadmahani and Banafsheh Farahani. It will cover various topics on historical structures, including genealogy, architectural structure analysis, understanding of functions and cultural perspective, Mehr News quoted director general of Tehran ICHHTO, Rajabali Khosroabadi as saying. Historical towers like Toghrol in Rey County, Shebeli in Damavand County, Baba Mahmoud Mausoleum in Shahriar County, Alaodoleh in Varamin County, as well as towers of Azadi and Milad, having been built in Iranian style of architecture, inspired the ICHHTO to organize the training workshop and conduct a new review on the history of the towers. The workshop is intended to also help improve the knowledge of tourist guides and help them offer better services to cultural tourists.
