Pointing to Iran’s selection as a top holiday spot by National Geographic UK and the World Travel Market, La Libre cites “Iran’s multitude of ancient sites” and its growing rapprochement with the international community as the main reasons behind the country’s rise in popularity. Hokkaido in Japan and Botswana in Africa rounded up the top 3 spots on the list.
