The twitter “#Must See Iran campaign” has been acclaimed by Vice-President and Head of the Department of Environment (DoE) Masoumeh Ebtekar, and Gary Lewis, the UN Resident Coordinator in Iran, Donya-e Eghtesad Newspaper reported on Tuesday. By showcasing Iran’s beauty #Must see Iran, has been able to attract attention from local and international media as well as receiving the moral support of the president and foreign government officials. The former Italian minister who is now spending time in Iran, has also shared images from #Must See Iran on his Instagram page. Ali Araghchi, the inventor of the campaign, noted that since its inception six months ago more than 50,000 pictures have been shared on the internet. About 27 million visitors check the page every week. Half of the visitors are foreigners who either have become curious to find out why Iran is a must see place or have been to Iran and now provide information for others on Iran’s attractions.
